Working with original and translation caption tracks
How to solo a single caption track, burn both original and translation in at once, and export SRT files alongside your MP4.

Who this is for
Anyone who wants captions on their exported video — in the original language, the dubbed language, or both at once — and needs the SRT files to go with it.
AutoCast keeps two separate caption tracks for every dubbed video:
Original — always the source language you recorded in.
Translation — the dubbed target language you generated.
Steps
Open the captions panel in the editor.
Solo a track to preview it. Click a caption track’s name (Original or Translation) to solo it in the burned-in preview — this shows only that one track on screen.
Burn both at once, if you want. Use the caption-bubble icon toggle to burn both tracks into the preview simultaneously instead of just one.
Check the preview to confirm which caption layout you want in your exported video.
Export. Choose MP4 + SRT. AutoCast produces the MP4 with your chosen burned-in caption setup, plus a separate SRT file for each language.
What you should see
The burned-in preview updates to match whichever track (or both) you selected. After export, your output folder contains the MP4 and a separate SRT file per language — for example, one SRT for the original and one for the translation.
Common issues or troubleshooting
Both captions show up when you only wanted one — check the caption-bubble icon toggle; it may be enabled and burning both tracks in at once. Turn it off, then solo the single track you want by clicking its name.
No captions appear in the preview — make sure at least one track is soloed or the burn-both toggle is on; by default no caption track may be selected for preview.
Missing an SRT file after export — confirm you selected MP4 + SRT (not MP4 only) in the export step. See Export MP4 and SRT.
