Supported languages for dubbing and the app interface

The six languages AutoCast can dub into and display its interface in, plus how US/UK/AU English options actually work.

Who this is for

Anyone deciding which languages they can dub into, or confused about the US/UK/AU English options in the language picker.

Supported languages

AutoCast dubs into six languages:

• English
• Spanish
• Japanese
• Portuguese
• Korean
• Chinese

The AutoCast app interface itself is also available in these same six languages, so you can use the app in whichever one you’re most comfortable with, independent of what you’re dubbing into.

Steps

1. Open Dubbing Review on a finished recording.
2. Pick your target language from the six listed above.
3. If your target is English, you’ll also see US, UK, and AU variants — pick whichever matches your audience.
4. Generate the dub as usual — see Translate and dub a video.

About the US/UK/AU English options

Choosing US, UK, or AU English only changes wording and spelling choices in the translated text — things like “color” vs. “colour,” or regional word choices. It does not change how the line is pronounced. AutoCast’s voice engine speaks every English dub in your own cloned voice and accent; no variant of English changes the pronunciation, because AutoCast doesn’t offer accent selection. Treat US/UK/AU as a spelling and wording setting, not a voice setting.

What you should see

Your video dubbed into the language you picked, spoken in your own cloned voice, with subtitles available in both the original and translated language.

Common issues or troubleshooting

• Expecting a British or Australian accent from the UK/AU option — this isn’t supported. AutoCast clones your own voice and speaks in your own accent regardless of which English variant you pick; the variant only affects wording and spelling.
• Need a language that isn’t listed — AutoCast currently supports the six languages above only. There’s no workaround within the app for additional languages.
